Le sculpteur kényan Gakunju KAIGWA fait son retour avec Ancestral Grain, une exposition personnelle présentant des sculptures fonctionnelles réalisées à partir d’arbres tombés et “réanimés”. L’artiste, figure établie de la scène contemporaine, y réfléchit à la dimension sacrée du bois et à la signification des objets fonctionnels qui nous entourent. Ancestral Grain est visible au Village Market à Nairobi. L’exposition est curatée par Tewasart and Patrons et se tient jusqu’au 31 mai 2026.
